About Us

Inspirational Family Radio is a network of independently owned stations in Idaho with headquarters located in Boise. The organization began in 1982 by the Schafer family with the acquisition of KSPD 790 AM. The network expanded with the acquisition of KBXL 94.1 FM and KDZY 98.3 FM in 1989 and 2001, respectively. In 2014, KUJJ 95.5 FM was purchased. The 94.5 FM translator was then added to KSPD in 2017. The staff at Inspirational Family Radio are dedicated to bringing our community the best in national and local programming, connecting listeners to their community, businesses, activities, and ministries.
