Summary:
This week on Heritage Bible Radio is the final week of Pastor Jim’s study on the book of James; we’re going to be closing out chapter 5. Before we start today, let us ask you, what is your attitude towards strays? Now, we’ve all known people who just can’t help themselves when they see a stray kitten; they have to pick it up, take it home, and either find a home for it or provide one themselves. But have you ever considered a stray as describing a fellow believer? That doesn’t mean you find a cute brother or sister in Christ homeless on the streets. Today’s passage will clarify what it’s meant by Christians who are strays and what we ought to be doing to care for them. Given that we live in a society whose philosophy is “mind your own business” and “live and let live,” you might be surprised by the directions from scripture about how to care for a fellow Christian who is wandering away from the truth.
