Heritage Bible Radio is a Ministry of Heritage Bible Church where Jim Harris is the teaching pastor. You can join Jim each weekday at 4 am, 8:30 am, and on Sunday at 7:15 am. Every day Jim works to devote his radio time to some portion of the Word of God so you can know God and serve him better.
This week on Heritage Bible Radio, we jump into chapter 2 of the book of Revelation. After the introductory chapter, the book of Revelation begins a series of letters addressed directly to seven specific historical churches that existed at the time of John’s writing the book. Some of the letters offer encouragement to churches operating faithfully, but most of them are warnings to churches that are compromising in some way. It’s extremely informative for us to hear what gained praise and what gained criticism from Jesus himself, and taking those lessons and applying them to ourselves and to our churches. This week Pastor Jim Harris will cover the first letter, which was written to the church at Ephesus. This was a thriving church at one time, where the apostle Paul invested much of his time. What had happened to them in the decades that followed? Find out as you listen to this week’s message.
